I started creating wonderful woolies in November 2008 with the “help” of my little chickadee, Elizabeth who has since been joined by her brother Alexander. I was inspired by my children to share my creations with others wanting to clothe their little ones in cute, natural goodness.
We call rural Michigan home, and strive to live as self-sufficiently as possible on our little two acres of "paradise". Every summer we are busy caring for our berry and vegetable gardens which yield tasty rewards and are great for getting the little ones to eat their veggies. We also tend a small flock of bantam Cochin chickens that supply us with eggs.
My current occupation as “Mommy” is the most difficult, but most rewarding position I have yet held. My other background and interests include a degree in Wildlife Biology, working at a zoo, coordinating marketing, events and design at an animal humane society, and having a general love of nature and art.
